I wanted to comment a little about this feature in Services, since it directly relates to how Services creates plain lyrics from the Lyrics & Chords in a Song arrangement. These plain lyrics are what Projector uses to automatically create song slides.
If you have ever tried doing a ‘cut and paste’ of ChordPro® formatted text (chords and lyrics) into the Lyrics & Chords for a song in Services, then tried to have Projector display the song (using just the plain lyrics), it’s very likely that you have run into some problems with the lyrics not showing up, song sections not being seen, and other issues. Since Planning Center has introduced a new integration with the SongSelect music service to selectively download editable ChordPro text for a song, I expect that many of you might also run into these issues.

It’s a really powerful feature to have Lyrics & Chords content that can both generate chord charts (for your musicians) as well as properly generate plain lyrics for Projector to display to the congregation.
