Do I need to have a Planning Center account to use WorshipStorm?
Yes. Planning Center Services is the cloud-based back-end that the WorshipStorm product family operates from. You will need to sign in to your Planning Center user to use the WorshipStorm apps, with the exception of the WorshipStorm Viewer app, which can be used by anybody (no Planning Center account needed).
Do I have to be connected to the Internet all the time to use WorshipStorm?
Not all the time. You will need to have internet connection to load Plans and Songs from your Planning Center Services account, but can then operate in an ‘offline’ mode.
What does “low cost” mean?
WorshipStorm Projector will be available on a “subscription” basis much like the original Projector. We’re still working out the details on how to charge and what to charge (including whether or not to have a WorshipStorm Cloud to support the product features better), but expect the monthly subscription to be somewhere from $2.99 to $4.99.
When will the WorshipStorm Projector Beta program start?
The Beta testing began on December 22, 2018. Our goal is to have WorshipStorm Projector available in the Apple AppStore sometime early in 2019, in plenty of time for existing Planning Center Projector users to adopt WorshipStorm Projector before the final end-of-life of Planning Center Projector.
When will the other WorshipStorm (Leader and Viewer) apps be available?
Soon. We are using the “biblical meaning” of “soon”, as in:
"He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!”
— (Revelation 22:20 - ESV)
